WHAT IS THE FOLDING PROJECT?
We are a group of developers who have noticed that the affordable, rapidly deployable, and semi-long term shelters that are currently available can be improved. We have completed our first 3 prototypes and are currently getting our title 24 certification and city approvals.
Our vision includes distributed non congregate housing, on/off grid homeless shelters, and disaster relief bridge housing.

OUR GOALS FOR HOUSING UNITS
- Drop off and pick up by any tow truck.
- The size of a standard parking space 8’x18’
- Hook up to the grid with RV-type hookups.
- Off-grid model that can be serviced like a mobile restroom.
- Deluxe units that have shower, toilet, sinks, refrigeration.
- Basic units for sleeping with 12volt power and can be off-grid with solar, battery, and water tanks.
